Bowmore Small Batch is an elegant Islay single malt matured in both first-fill and second-fill bourbon barrels. A great introduction to Bowmore's lovely smoky flavour profile - the Small Batch is refined, light, and well-balanced with plenty of honey, coconut, and vanilla notes.

gotta a hold of this dram last week. Really enjoyed it.
I obtained a bottle of this whisky on a promotional special for $30 USD. Having experienced several Bowmore offerings before, I found this one to be an exceptionally good deal and a very well balanced dram for the price. The maritime characteristics of Bowmore 12 are delightfully complimented by a fruity, fresh young spirit element and this is definitely a very smooth, easy sipping dram. My one complaint is the excessive smoothness...some character would definitely be added by boosting the ABV to 43-46%.

Find the green apple taste to be too much of a young whisky but it does have a nice peaty overtone to it.
