This very special Bowmore was distilled on the 14th June 1999, and aged in sherry, bourbon and wine casks in warehouse 6 before bottling in 2009 for that year's Fèis Ìle. A release of 900 numbered bottles.
This bottle was part of a private collection - if you'd like more detailed photos just get in touch!
Fruity and intense with notes of hoisin sauce, soy, espresso beans, toffee apple, chocolate orange, a little wood smoke and hints of salty butter.
Rich with notes of stewed fruits, calves leather, old oak, potpourri, orange zest, marmalade on toast and sherry.
Good length with notes of oak, toffee and spices.
