Originally released for the Travel Retail market, this 10 year old Bowmore single malt is a marriage of Spanish oak Sherry casks and hogsheads, resulting in a fine balance between classic coastal Islay smoke and Sherried sweetness.
Salted pretzels, fruitcake and a pinch of cinnamon.
Flamed orange peel, sea salt, Cadbury Bournville.
Spiced rum warmth, with layers of toasted malt.

Delicious! Poured over ice. I’m not keen on peaty whiskies. This salty, sweet whiskey is delicious. Doesn’t warrant the bad reviews.
I read the bad reviews and there is a perfect explanation. Taste is always personal. If you love smokey Scottish Islay whiskies, this one won't let you down. A perfect balance of sweet and a strong pepper / smokey taste. One of my favourite whiskies, pure flavour. Absolutely recommended.
I dont agree to the bad review, I really enjoy this Bowmore. //Thomas
love it excellent drop on the rocks .
I bought this on a whim coming back from Portugal. I really struggled with this on the nose and the palate. As someone said before me it tastes like rubber and I would add pine chemical. I tried 2 drams neat and one final one with a bit of water. I just can't drink it.
