Originally released for the Travel Retail market, this 10 year old Bowmore single malt is a marriage of Spanish oak Sherry casks and hogsheads, resulting in a fine balance between classic coastal Islay smoke and Sherried sweetness.
Salted pretzels, fruitcake and a pinch of cinnamon.
Flamed orange peel, sea salt, Cadbury Bournville.
Spiced rum warmth, with layers of toasted malt.

Just awful rubber taste and petrochemical aftertaste. Never thought Bowmore may turn such a disappointment.
In the words of another reviewer, “Good weekday Scotch”. The color seems artificial, but with a little water it is not bad. Low end of the smokey spectrum. A little salty, not too briney. $50 where I bought it. Wouldn’t pay more than that.
This is not at all bad for the price. Maybe the ones who have rated 1 star are expecting a Lagavulin 16?
Really can't understand the bad reviews, this is better than the 12yo bowmore
My favorite whiskey is lagavulin 16. In free shop I cant find and sells man offer me bowmore 10. I have to say lagavulin is really better but bowmore also accepltable for your paymeny.
