This single malt was distilled at Bowmore on the 14th June 1999, and aged in Limousin oak in warehouse no.5 for eight years before bottling for the 2008 Fèis Ìle. A release of 800 numbered bottles, fabulous stuff.

Lots of muscular, brazen smoke, along with dried berry fruits, hints of salinity, toffee apples, caramelised sugar, woodsmoke, iodine and hints of cocoa.
Thick and spicy with fiery peat smoke, hints of chamomile tea, a melange of fruits, a little cocoa, espresso beans, bitter oak and tangy cranberries.
Redcurrants and cranberry sauce, a little buttery toffee and hints of lapsang souchong.
