Decadently sweet and oaky with heaps of dried fruit, chewy peels, delicate floral notes, and aromatic spice.
Complex flavours of stone fruit, winter spices, caramel, French vanilla, black pepper, pecan, and chocolate.
Long and drying.
Good Bourbon, not sure it is worth the price? The biggest problem is availability, if it were on the shelves at your local stores and at this price would you still buy it? Carmel, Oak, Spice and velvety!
If you are a fan of Original Blanton’s you must give this one a try in addition to SFTB. Wish we could get these in the United States but until that happens Master of Malt will be my go to place to get Blanton’s Gold & SFTB.
Best as is, no need to dilute with ice nor a mixer
I prefer scotch, but this is a very sip-able bourbon. Curious to try other things by Blanton
