This is Blanton's Gold Edition, one of the most famous and beloved bourbons in the world. The superb single-barrel bourbon is distilled from a mashbill of corn, rye and malted barley and then aged in the famous Warehouse H at Buffalo Trace Distillery. Each bottle is a collector's favourite; hand-filled, labelled, individually numbered, and adorned with that famous horse stopper. Speaking of which...
Chasing the full Blanton’s cork set?
If you’re hunting down all eight horse stoppers, you’re not alone. Drop our Customer Service team a line, and we’ll see what we can do to help you complete the set. Because let’s be honest, half the fun is spelling BLANTONS on your shelf. You knew eight different stoppers spell out the brand name, right? Read away if you require the full story.
Please Note: Unfortunately, the wax atop these Blanton's bottlings is currently prone to cracking. We're informed that this should be a short-term problem, but please be aware when purchasing this tasty bourbon. (Don't worry, the delicious liquid inside won't be affected!)
Decadently sweet and oaky with heaps of dried fruit, chewy peels, delicate floral notes, and aromatic spice.
Complex flavours of stone fruit, winter spices, caramel, French vanilla, black pepper, pecan, and chocolate.

This stuff really is otherworldly it's just staggeringly good. This stuff makes other highly accomplished bourbons look meager.
Those that are keen to understand the quality of pappy van winkle should simply spend half the money on a bottle of this !!! I've had both and this is just as special
The single barrel releases, although of a lower ABV, are (based on a sample) better balanced and bodied than Blanton's Gold. I felt as if the SB sample was better than this and Blanton's Straight From the Barrel. It seemed a bit difficult to find a good dilution point for Gold and honestly there's way too much nicely aged scotch more complex than this available at this price so why not go there? I think I'd rather pick a ~€50 scotch and a regular ol' Buffalo Trace to go with it rather than this one alone.
If I could only have one bourbon, this is it!
