Distilled in July 2012 this Blair Athol was then matured for nine years, initially in a refill hogshead before it was finished in a first-fill sauternes wine barrique. It was bottled by Hannah Whisky Merchants for the Lady of the Glen series in May 2022 in a release of 278 bottles full of fruity, honeyed notes.
Buttered toast, apple crumble, and stone fruit.
Toffee apple, apricot jam, and cinnamon butter.
Honey, flaky pastry, and more red apple.
