The Single Cask bottled this 13-year-old whisky from Blair Athol Distillery which was finished in a first-fill Pedro Ximénez octave, at 51.1% without additional colouring or filtration. It's a full-bodied, fruity, and rewarding single cask dram.
Orchard fruits doused in caramel as well as hints of marmalade, espresso, and dried herbs.
Grilled fruit, peppery spice, golden syrup, and black tea.
Dried fruit and cinnamon linger.
