Distilled at Blair Athol in November 2009, this single malt matured in a virgin oak hogshead, before finishing in an ex-syrah (shiraz) wine cask! In January 2022, the cask was opened by independent bottler DS Tayman, releasing a total of 388 bottles.
Sweet layers of summer berries and citrus, with hearty oak beneath.
Oily malt and more tangy red fruits, chocolate raisins, with old leather in the distance.
Baking spice warmth gathers, alongside stewed berries and hearty oak, with burnt biscuits and caramel keeping things sweet.
