Bottled by The Vintage Malt Whisky Co. for The Cooper's Choice Collection, a 2009 vintage single malt from Blair Athol. The whisky was initially filled into American oak before finishing its 12-year maturation in a Pineau des Charentes cask.
Toasty notes of vanilla and coconut join sweet citrus and sultana studded pastries.
Soft stone fruits, more sultanas, dried orange peels, subtle notes of wine gums and praline.
Ripe fruit lingers beside spiced chocolate, vanilla, and oily walnuts.
