A fabulous addition to the indie Reserve Casks series from The Single Malts of Scotland. This is the sixth parcel from Blair Athol, distilled in 2011 and matured for 10 years in six casks, until it was bottled up in 2021.
Viennese whirls, baked fruit dusted with cinnamon and burnt brown sugar.
Buttery fudge with creamy vanilla and chocolate raisins, softly nutty with crushed almonds and macadamia.
Sweet toffee and toasted oak with a warming prickle of spice and more wafts of caramelised nuts.
