A Flora and Fauna release from the Blair Athol distillery, this 12 year old exudes sherry and Christmas pudding notes with spice. Blair Athol does not receive the acclaim it so thoroughly deserves.
Nutty with sherried notes. Gentle oak char. Crisp.
Good body, malty and sweet. Citrus and the peels thereof.
Toasty oak, syrup. Good sweetness, bittersweet, drying.

Very sweet (but in a good way). Like drinking an apple crumble
It's a lovely dram with some dried apricot and citrus peel note. Please note it is definitely NOT peated.
I can’t believe this whisky is a Diageo brand and 97% of it goes into Bells whisky. It’s a fantastic tasting sherried whisky.
One of the great sherry cask whiskies. All bottles from first fill Sherry casks that spend their entire life just maturing in Sherry casks. Like the good old MacAllan 10 and 12 year olds from yesteryear. An amazing whisky from the other great distillery in Pitlochry. Very surprised it isn’t more well known.
Not a bad whisky but overpriced in my opinion .when you consider glenallachie 12 , deanston 12 and Glen Garioch 12 are all far superior and all cheaper , this 1 at £48 is not an attractive option I'm afraid . £35 would be a fair price point for this bottle , there's no way it's an almost 50 qid bottle . Not 1 I'll buy again .
