Pears in chocolate sauce, bolstered by peppery oak, and more florals.
Black pepper, cinnamon, and cocoa linger.
I used to think blends were a means to meet demand at the expense of releasing limited aged stock. But think that no more. This is a lovely expression, which captures the heart of lowland florals and adds a lingering cinnamon and black pepper taste. Beautiful. A great introduction to a distillery going places. One to watch.
