Rich and full-bodied, this is a rather interesting little whisky from the Bladnoch distillery in the Lowlands. It was matured in nothing but top-quality sherry casks before bottling. It even comes with a picture of the distillery on the bottle - what more could you ask?
Gingerbread and hints of butterscotch. Thick, sweet malt with hints of baked pear and toffee apples.
Baking spices meld with nots of stem ginger in syrup, allspice and potpourri. A touch of marmalade develops late palate.
Long, creamy finish with lingering lemon zest and berry fruit.
