It's the 2022 release of Bladnoch's 11 Year Old single malt! This expression spends its eponymous 11 year maturation exclusively in ex-bourbon casks, before being bottled up at 46.7% ABV. Excellent stuff, packed with character.
Fragrant honey with a smidge of floral breeze to it.
Still delicately floral, with layers of caramel and oak appearing.
Cooked apple, peppercorn, and violet sweeties.

nose-leechee, vanilla, butterscotch, cherry, walnut, honey palate-spicy vegetal development, nutty spicy long finish note-cant really describe the arrival except as lightly salty unsweetened slightly bitter Bladnoch 10 and Samsara in my #1 category and the 11 yo Annual Release category 3.
The first thing you see is quality packaging. The bottle is pretty much like a nice decanter and the box has a nice, waxy texture to it. Once you pour yourself a dram, it has a light ember colour and beautiful nose, reminding me of apple pie with custard. The nose translates into the palate very well, delivery a nice feel with that 46% ABV, and the finish is long and very pleasant sweet and floral, just making you take another sip.
Musty, tart, mellow, a slightly sour cinnamon apple pie, heather honey
Nice smooth whisky, obviously differs slightly in taste from products of other regions, Lovely to drink a dram to savour & take time over.
