A lovely little whisky, made unusual by the fact that Lowland malts are very rarely peated. The result is Bladnoch's house style of gently malty, floral spirit, with a tinge of smoky complexity.
Fruit-led nose with notes of ripe fruits, a hint of grape peel and honey. Cashew nuts and just a touch of apple juice.
Tangy with gently smoked peels (if such a thing could exist). Hazelnut and cocoa (Nutella), and a little cedar.
Good length with notes of malt and cinnamon.
