This is a larger bottle of the relaunched Black Bottle Blended Scotch Whisky, which has been inspired by the original recipe from 1879. The peatier notes from the Islay whisky in the blend have been balanced by rich sweetness of demerara sugar and simmering spice. The bottle design has even been inspired by the days of yore, including returning to the black glass bottle, which is where the whisky got its name from.
