
Big Mouth is an appropriate name for the brand of this blended Scotch whisky. Beneath the ginger-bearded Scot on the label (who plainly has a big mouth himself) there is a boast that this blend features three times more malt whisky than most mass produced whisky. It's produced in small batches with 50% aged single malt and 50% aged single grain with a sweet and smoky style.
Acacia honey, white grapes, sweet grist and malt loaf. Baking spices and hints of peat are present underneath.
Honeyed barley, cut grass and roasted peanuts form a core. Peat smoke is more prominent among a suggestion of citrus and a crackle of peppercorn.
A pinch of white pepper lingers.
