An impressive bottle of 25 year old blended Scotch whisky, bottled by Berry Bros. & Rudd. Released as part of The Perspective Series, a range which marvellously combines whisky and photography as Master Blender Doug McIvor worked with photographer Lindsay Robertson. This particular expression presents the drinker with a picture of The Cuillins, a range of rocky mountains on the Isle of Skye. The image was specially chosen to harmonise with the flavour profile of the whisky itself.
Juicy autumn fruits, namely plums and figs, with a dash of sharper citrus aromas alongside more warming autumnal notes of honey and baking spices.
Somewhat oily and mouthfilling, with more fresh fruit and stewed, spiced apple compote with rhubarb crumble.
