Sherry
Wonderfully sherried Benrinnes single malt from the team over at The Single Cask. Distilled in 2012 the Speysider was matured for just shy of a decade, including a finishing period in an oloroso sherry octave. These small casks allow for more surface area to volume ratio, imparting buckets of flavour. It was then bottled at a burly 58.2% ABV, with just 91 bottles released.
Banana bread, homemade jam, and candied ginger.
Honeyed spices, dark chocolate, fresh tobacco, and ripe plum.
Baked apple, cinnamon, and toasted teacake.
