33 year old single malt from the Benrinnes distillery, independently bottled by Adelphi. This one was distilled in 1984 and left to age in a single cask for over three decades, then bottled in 2018 with an outturn of 395 bottles.
Perfumed malt arrive first, before brandy snap, buttered toast, stewed berries and orange liqueur notes.
Rich and honeyed, with warming oak and cinnamon. A few hints of leather and menthol.
Chewy dates, oily walnuts and tobacco.
