From Murray McDavid's Mission Gold range comes a 28 year old Benrinnes single malt, distilled back in 1988. It was first aged in a bourbon hogshead, before being moved over to a first-fill Oloroso cask for a finishing period, then bottled in 2017.
Fig jam and salted butter, with lingering mineral hints.
Still buttery, with plenty of rich malt notes to back it up.
Milky coffee, blueberry and hibiscus.
