A 20 year single malt from the Benrinnes distillery, drawn from one cask which was laid down in 1997. Following the two decade maturation, the fine folks from Scotland Grindlay bottled the whisky with an outturn of 200 bottles.
Toasted brown bread with marmalade and Nutella (on separate slices - we're not unhinged), a touch of fennel.
Walnuts and cashews, honey and another hint of creamy chocolate.
Black pepper on the medium-length finish.
