Brilliant Benriach, bottled up by Murray McDavid for the Benchmark collection. Distilled in 2013, this single malt was finished in Koval bourbon hogsheads before bottling in 2022, with a total release of 1,195 bottles.
Barley sugar sweeties and fresh fruit salad, with waves of silky vanilla caramel and soft fudge.
Zesty malt opens the way, with candied orange and lemon peels balanced by oaken vanilla and char.
Toffee sponge and baking spices build, while buttery vanilla and a pinch of pepper linger.
