Delve into the brilliance of Benriach with this well-aged single malt, independently bottled by us – Master of Malt! Distilled in 1996, this one spent a generous 26 years maturing in refill hogsheads, with 299 bottles produced in 2022.
Woody notes of sawdust and stone fruits are followed by sweeter layers of candy floss, Pear Drops, and raspberry bubblegum. Creamy granola, pastel de nata, and milk bottle sweeties follow.
Sweet popcorn and caramel sauce bring a silky smooth texture. Soft spices murmur at the edges, before mellowing into the distance, while baked pear and apple take hold.
Light sponge and sticky toffee – sticky toffee pudding! A touch of caraway, before sweet ginger and buttery malt prevail.
