Description

The oldest whisky from Benriach's 15th batch of single cask bottlings - a 26 year old single malt drawn from a single Burgundy barrique! The cask was filled in January 1991 and emptied in 2018, producing just 270 bottles.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose

Damp oak, strawberry jam, coffee and a touch of raw cinnamon spiciness.

Palate

Chewy raspberry and damson, with a helping of toasted stave in the background.

Finish

Milk chocolate, sour cherry and honeycomb.
