This 15 year old Benriach was finished in Madeira barrels from Henriques and Henriques after an initial maturation in ex-bourbon American oak casks.
This bottle was part of a private collection - if you'd like more detailed photos just get in touch!
Sweet, spicy, citrussy. Oak, fresh fruit,
Esters, eucalyptol freshness, toffee, sherry. Thick mouthfeel.
Long, clean, pine and hazelnut.

Have never developed a taste for scotch but after trying this at a recent party we are hooked.
Another fine malt from BenRiach. The madeira finish is my favorite so far.
I've had my eye on the Macallan 18 for quite a while, but as the price rose to $200 a bottle I just couldn't pull the trigger. Was fortunate to find a this for $75 and it is basically the same flavor profile, wonderful for the price!
