A peated 10 year old single malt Scotch whisky from Benriach, matured in a single virgin oak hogshead from February 2007 to 2018. Following maturation, this whisky was bottled at cask strength for Benriach's 15th batch of single cask bottlings. Just 221 of these were produced.
Sponge cake and Brazil nut, with a hint of damp oak earthiness in the background.
Honeyed malt with underlying smokiness. Clove, cumin and caramel.
Lasting dry smoke.
