This single malt from Ben Nevis joins The Golden Cask Collection from indie bottler House of MacDuff. Distilled in 2012, the whisky spent nine years in a single bourbon barrel, with a total of 177 bottles released in 2022.
Zesty waxed citrus peel, dried berries, earthy vanilla, and toasted oak.
Oily, nutty malt and sweet, candied ginger are wrapped up in layers of butterscotch, apricot, and butter biscuits.
Brittle toffee, cooked pears, and lingering waxed fruit, with a prickle of cracked peppercorns in tow.
