Single Malt
Scotland
Whisky Sponge and Decadent Drinks bottled up this Ben Nevis because the duo wanted to show off the spirit's unique oil and waxy qualities. That's exactly what's been achieved in this 7-year-old bottling, which was distilled in 2014 and aged in a second-fill sherry butt before it was snapped up at 48.5% ABV.
Seville marmalade, toffee apple, roasted nuts, and sherried spice.
Waxy and full-bodied, with dark chocolate, milky coffee, dried fruit, nutmeg, and a little cured meat.
Oily and spicy with stewed black fruit.
