Ben Nevis 17 Year Old - Chorlton Whisky
Ben Nevis single malt from independent bottler Chorlton, aged for 17 years in a bourbon barrel. A total of 285 bottles were filled at a cask strength of 48.8% ABV, without added colour or chill-filtration.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Soft floral notes and subtle maltiness underpin ripe fruits and a touch of citrus zest.
Palate
The waxy texture delivers layers of stone fruit interwoven with creamy milk chocolate and honeycomb sweetness. A hint of nutmeg and soft oak spice lingers beneath.
Finish
The waxy texture persists, carrying remnants of honeyed sweetness, fading fruit, and a gentle touch of cocoa.
