Bell's Original is a smooth, well-rounded whisky with a hint of smoke. It's perfect for enjoying neat or on the rocks.
Bell's whisky is the United Kingdom's most popular blended Scotch whisky, this is the standard release of Bell's Original, with notes of fresh herbs on the nose with cereal sweetness on the palate.
Quite soft and gentle. Malted barley and hints of cut herbs and a fresh floral note. Cereal and grist with a little honey.
Quite smooth, medium body. Barley and cereals with nut oils, hints of wood and spice.
Short with notes of fruitcake and smoke.

In my experience no whisky has matched bells for the price by litre... It's a flavour enjoyed by the hundreds of thousands not the few.
Without doubt one of the poorest drams I've encountered. Truly awful.
Nasty aroma of spirit, burnt rope finish. Steer clear of this whisky, there are far better out there.
Bells tastes OK very well disguised with coke or ginger, but on it's own it is worse than disappointing. I would far rather drink 1/3 of the amount of any single malt than suffer another dram of Bells. It's no surprise that on a recent tour of Scotland none of the pubs we visited stocked Bells. One bar owner told me that all of the Bells Original is sent down south or exported. I once stayed with a man in Lochterarder who liked his single malt. He told me a tale of his brother visiting, and being offered a glass of 25 year old Glenturret. He asked for a splash of lemonade and was told, "If you want lemonade, you can have the Bells" . A man after my own heart.
I love a whisky, I really enjoy single malts particularly Islay, but I'm also fond of a blend, I find Teachers in particular a bargain. Thought I'd try a bottle of Bells as it was on offer, WOW is this awful. I won't finish the bottle and I'll never buy again. If you tried this as your first whisky you'd never try another.
