Bell's Original is a smooth, well-rounded whisky with a hint of smoke. It's perfect for enjoying neat or on the rocks.
Bell's whisky is the United Kingdom's most popular blended Scotch whisky, this is the standard release of Bell's Original, with notes of fresh herbs on the nose with cereal sweetness on the palate.
Quite soft and gentle. Malted barley and hints of cut herbs and a fresh floral note. Cereal and grist with a little honey.
Quite smooth, medium body. Barley and cereals with nut oils, hints of wood and spice.
Short with notes of fruitcake and smoke.

I just tasted my first Bell's and I was amazed over the quality for it's cheap price. Seasalt, a little smoke and herbs. Better than Grant's, Teachers and Lauders.
This whisky now tastes of petrol and an overpowering cheap peaty additive. It is nothing like it was years ago and is best avoided.
If you have been doing a bit of glossing it really handy the stick your brushes in. If you want a nice whisky without braking the bank try jonny Walker black label.
Not very good. Nose is barely there at all and all I get is a sweet grain note when I do manage to smell anything. It's got a lot of bite and a bit of spice but little else going on other than alcohol/solvent on the palate, finish is metallic, solventy, spicy and perhaps a tiny touch of peat? It's flawed and not good even in it's price range: seriously try Grant's, Scottish Leader or Nevis Dew(my personal tip if you want a budget blend - seriously it's £2 more and a lot, lot better). GlenTalloch or VAT 69 are also good options for a blend that isn't going to break the bank.
Sweet enough to hide any harshness that you would expect from spirit at this level. Just filled an empty £60 single malt bottle with Bell's and doubt very much anyone will know the difference. Yes, that's how I roll.
