A blended French whisky from the Bastille 1789 range, created by Master Distiller Jean-Marc Daucourt. This is made with malted barley and wheat brown in Northern France, and is matured in a selection of casks, including Limousin oak casks - which are more commonly used for Cognac maturation. A light, elegant blend, with robust notes of orchard fruit and crisp cereals.

Such a pleasant surprise. I usually don't go for blends, but was very interested in trying a whisky from France. I am so glad that I did. The taste is very round, with delicate notes of orange and oak. One of the best blends I've had the pleasure of trying.
