
Batch number five of The Balvenie Tun 1858 is a vatting of four European oak sherry butts and six oak barrels, selected by malt master David Steward and married in Tun 1858.

Lusciously malty and slightly tangy with some orange peel, followed by soft vanilla, layers of brown sugar and a gentle cinnamon spiciness.
Rich velvety and mouthcoating with a syrupy sweetness and those citrusy notes, there is creamy oak vanilla, blossom honey and butterscotch ending on a ground ginger spiciness.
A malty sweetness with gentle waves of vanilla and some oak spices.
