It's the second release of Balvenie Rose, a 16 year old single malt. The whisky was treated to a Port finish, and while that may give it a rosy hue, that's not the reason behind the name. Balvenie Rose is named after the rent of Balvenie Castle, which was fixed at a single red rose in 1460. Not a bad rate if you ask us.
