The 12-year-old expression in Balvenie's travel retail Triple Cask range is made with whisky matured in three different types of cask, namely first-fill American oak barrels, traditional refill casks, and first-fill oloroso sherry butts. Following the maturation, the whisky is married together to create a cohesive, flavoursome expression packed with orchard fruit, custard cream, and cinnamon spice.

First encountered Triple Cask in the Glasgow duty-free shop while waiting for an early morning flight back to the U.S. They were offering samples. Tried it neat and just loved it at first smell and sip. If it takes good before 8:00 a.m. it has to be great! Now I pick up a bottle every time I fly. Layered flavors with a nice imbalance of sweet just a bit over the spice.... just a tiny hint of smoke. Love it neat, or with just a bit of cool water.

Very smooth the Bocquet has a hint of honey. My wife bought me a 20 cl bottle at Manchester airport. Do I take it that this size is only sold in airport duty-free? It was a very nice present but to her disAppointment She asked me to guess the price I guess was at a gross undervalue. I had not realised that this was a premium whiskey. As my wife has now become a fan of your whiskey and can be relied upon during on her numerous airport excursions to buy me a couple of bottles a time I wonder whether you would treat her to a couple of the miniatures. Meanwhile I am your best advert for promoting the brand. I'll be happy to provide you with a forwarding address although we are in the process of moving house at the moment. The doublewood has long been a favourite of mine and the triple cask stands alongside it adding another level to the rich complexity of the Balvenie whisky's. Can't wait to share this with family and fiends.
