You don't see a lot of Balmenach whisky these days, do you? If you fancy getting your mitts on some of this somewhat seldom-seen single malt, this Darkness bottling is a delicious opportunity to do so! It's a 16 year old expression, which has enjoyed a finishing period in a Moscatel sherry octave cask. Well-sherried, with a good helping of toasty spices running through it.

Nose
Juicy orange and honeyed malt, with a touch of spiced hot chocolate.
Palate
Pain aux raisins, cinnamon sticks and a good helping of drying oak.
Finish
Fresh vanilla and hints of black tea.
