Distilled on 26 August 2011, this single malt from Edradour was released under the Ballechin name, which means you can expect there to be peat in there somewhere. After a decade of maturation in a single bourbon cask (no. 328), the whisky was bottled on 2nd March 2022 at a cask strength of 59% ABV and with an outturn of 313 bottles.
Grilled pineapple, honey-roasted nuts, Frazzles, and baked earth.
Dried herbs, dark brown sugar, rich malty oak, and earthy peat.
Flaked dark chocolate, candied orange, and bonfire smoke.
