Ballantine's 17 Year Old is a blend favoured by many. It's vibrant, well-balanced, and properly packed with honey, apples, and biscuits, plus a hint of smoke.
Feinty. Smoke and a touch of mochaccino. There are some notes of leather and Madeira with a little chocolate.
Balanced. There are notes of cut herbs and a defined vegetal character. Fresh citrus and fudge. Touch of peat smoke.
Fruit, becomes dry.

...and why have they dropped the ABV? Will the quality now slide?...x
A great whisky. Superior to most single malts of this age. Unfortunately the price is going up!
