A splendid seven-year-old single malt from Balblair here, and just 13 bottles now join our own collection of exclusive releases. Matured in a refill hogshead between 2011 and 2018, this young Highlander is awash with waves of coastal character.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Earthy oak and a salty coastal breeze, a touch of nutmeg, and a whisper of bonfire smoke.
Palate
Hearty layers of roasted barley and vegetal samphire, lime pickle, and cracked black peppercorns with waves of brine beneath.
Finish
Rock salt and dark chocolate, paired with spiced festive biscuits.
