Description

A 2004 vintage single malt Scotch from Balblair distillery, which was matured in sherry butts before being bottled in 2017 at 46% ABV. A fabulous Highland dram, originally launched as a Travel Retail exclusive.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose

Raisins, honey, leather and gingersnap biscuits, with green apple, liquorice and dark chocolate.

Palate

More honey balanced by dried berries, tobacco and spice alongside vanilla sweetness and more dark chocolate.

Finish

Lengthy and warming with a balanced bitterness.
