A Secret German Single Malt 5 Year Old - Badly Drawn Dogs
German single malt whisky, with a German shepherd on the label. Makes sense. What do you mean "that doesn't look like a German shepherd"?! Well, let us tell you, it is. How do we know? Because it was drawn right here under this roof by our in-house full-time dog drawing extraordinaire, Cal, and he's named that German Shepherd Brian! This five-year-old German single malt whisky was found sheltering in a peated French oak cask before we tamed it and filled it into puppy-sized 350ml bottles to join the Badly Drawn Dogs series.
Each bottle sold means a donation to Battersea Dogs & Cats Home and Dogs Trust. Drink generously (and responsibly).
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Rich layers of grilled fruits and herbaceous leaves join waves of oaken vanilla and peat smoke.
Palate
Rich oak char, vegetal peat, and woody spices gather, with hard caramels, smoked toffee, and a touch of menthol.
Finish
Drying oak and barky spices linger, with singed herbs, hints of buttery fruit pastry, and lingering hints of minty, smoky tea.
