
Richly-sherried 8 year old Aultmore single malt, independently bottled by The Single Cask. It initially began its maturation in a hogshead cask, but was moved over to a much smaller cask that previously held Pedro Ximénez sherry for a finishing period of three months. Just 75 bottles were produced.
Coffee bean, dried fruit, perhaps even a hint of pineapple.
An intense attack of raisin and raspberry, tempered slightly by robust vanilla pod sweetness/earthiness.
A very subtle hint of coastal air comes out from behind chocolate and malt.
