“I really enjoyed this. Neither a bomb nor a monster, just beautifully balanced, with a youthful sweetness and a long, gentle finish. I didn't add water. Very pleasantly surprised, with an affordable price tag as well. ”

Aultmore 8 Year Old 2010 (casks 800025 & 800027) - Small Batch (James Eadie)

A single malt Scotch whisky from Aultmore that was distilled in 2010 and aged in two first-fill bourbon casks for 8 years before it was bottled by James Eadie at 46% ABV in 2018 for the Small Batch selection. 663 bottles were produced.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose

Honey-drenched orchard fruit, fresh barley and buttered bread lead with warming oak and white pepper in support.

Palate

Bright citrus, toasted almonds and Vanilla ice cream emerge from the recurring flavours from the nose.

Finish

Mellow and enjoyably bittersweet with a touch of dried herbs.
