Bourbon

An Aultmore single malt, independently bottled by... Us! We bottled this creamy 11 year old single malt, which was aged in a bourbon cask from October 2006 to March 2018. No chill-filtration, no additional colours and bottled at cask strength, just like the rest of our Single Cask range.
Vanilla ice cream and dried barley. A hint of hoppy oiliness to it.
Bright citrus and burnt sugar, followed by a touch of oak-y smoke.
Beeswax and toasted almonds.
Quite mellow and enjoyably sweet, with herbaceous notes to be found underneath.

One of the best whiskies I ever tasted . Almonds, oily , waxy , creamy... Mortlach combined with Clynelish... . No it is Aultmore. Wish I had bought 2 bottles.
