Distilled at Auchroisk in 2008, this single malt spent 15 years maturing in a first-fill bourbon barrel. The cask was opened by independent bottler Dràm Mòr, releasing a total of 231 bottles at a hearty 54.1% ABV.
Layers of floral vanilla and tea, summer fruits, and poached pears, with woody spices nestling beneath.
Decadent helpings of dried honeyed fruits, juicy sultanas, and creamy vanilla lead to runny toffee, then fragrant notes of cinnamon, and a warming touch of dried chilli.
Sweet caramel, dates, burnt brown sugar, peppery heat, rich oak char.
