Single Malt
Auchentoshan
From the Auchentoshan distillery in the Scottish Lowlands comes a triple distilled single malt Scotch whisky aged entirely in first fill American oak casks. A light, bright whisky with plenty of vanilla sweetness at its centre - great as an aperitif dram.
Oranges and lemons, toffee chunks and milk chocolate. Wafts of grassy air and clotted cream.
Bounty bars, more citrus peels and peaches. A little bit buttery, with golden barley and oak spice developing on the mid palate.
Lasting notes of grapefruit and toffee pennies.
Wurthers Originals on the nose, not much on the palate. Bit bland
Tastes like someone drank Malibu, pissed in a bong then smoked hay through it. Awful stuff.
The flavours are a strange blend as if somebody mixed Spiced Gold, Bourbon, Southern Comfort, and Scotch Good perhaps for cocktails but otherwise not really my taste
Tastes like sweet toffee with buttery notes and a zest of lemon
A young whisky, cheap but not cheerful. I will stick to my favoured 3 Wood. Whisky companies are doing themselves more harm than good with these young no age statement whiskies. Fortunately I was given this one as I wouldn't waste my money buying it.
