Single Malt
Scotland
1 Apr 2018

This single malt Scotch whisky was selected by Arran for the fourth batch of The Bothy series. It was initially matured in first-fill ex-Bourbon barrels before being transferred for secondary maturation into American oak smaller casks for a minimum of 18 months. It was bottled at a natural cask strength 53.8% ABV without chill-filtration or additional colouring.
Exotic fruit, sweet spice, vanilla and a plenty of warming oak.
Intensely fruity with fresh pineapple, tinned peaches and coconut. Brown bread and more rich spice form underneath.
Waxy lemons and a hint of cacao linger.

A really pleasant feel and taste. Well reccomended.
Amazing. I had to steal some for myself! Tasty cask strength single malt
This dram is fantastic for the money. Baskets of vanilla and pineapple, heaps of double cream and honey. Wonderful mouthfeel. Well done Arran, it's a cracker.
I tried this at a recent Arran tasting night. It really divided opinion in the room. And I have to admit I found it absolutely undrinkable. Horrid!
